Adella Beach in September

Right from the wedding in marble- mama, daddy, and i hopped in the car and headed for adella beach.  we drove straight through the night and made it to wisconsin in no time!  (if you ask my parents though, it was kind of a long long road trip due to the extra time from being in marble. . .)  though, once we were at gama and papa's house it was "no worries"!  

there's plenty of time to relax on the dock. . .

 . . . and eat tomatoes. . .

 . . .mmmm, i love them right off the vine!

. . .throwing rocks into the water never gets old!

 notice my flip-flops? they're kind of an obsession of mine right now. . .

 if you hadn't noticed yet, my bangs were getting a bit long . . . time for a haircut. . .

 . . . more dress up with daddy. . .

 papa made this pumpkin just for me. . .you can't see but it says "FINN". . . thanks Papa!

 . . .it's game night and my buddy Hunter came over to cheer with me!  Go Pac Go! 

gama and i stayed home while mama, daddy, uncle gabe and papa went fishing on lake michigan. . . nice one guys!

 . . . time to get my "boat coat" on and head out for a sunset ride. . .

 . . . i really like to go on boat rides. . . faster papa, faster!

 . . . ahhh, so relaxing. . . 

 . . . i like to play "nigh, nigh" with papa. . . he really snores!

 today mama and daddy went to door county to celebrate their 5th anniversary. . . i get gama and papa all to myself!  we played in the box. . . 

we went to the zoo and fed the giraffe. . .COOL!

 maybe i can climb over this fence and play with the animals? do you see me? . . .

 next it was my first trip to the one and only lambeau field. . .

 a visit at gama and papa stanek's is never complete without a trip to get ice cream . . .

thanks for such a wonderful time at adella beach!  you're the best gama and papa stanek EVER! i love you and can't WAIT to come back. . . maybe next time mama and daddy can leave for a few days?!?!

A Marblelous Wedding

We spent Labor Day Weekend in Marble, Colorado at the first Outward Bound base camp built in the US.  Very rustic.  Very Beautiful.  Good friends of Mom and Dad's from the Outward Bound circle, James and Michelle, tied the knot in front of one of the most spectacular views out there!  Unfortunately I was not feeling well and couldn't enjoy the festivities to their fullest, but non the less, it was a bluebird sunny day with good friends and great celebrations the whole weekend long.  .  .

A Whole Lotta Catch'n Up!

WOW!  Boy does time fly by when you're having fun!  It's been awhile and we have got to catch you up on the adventures that I've had this summer. . .

As soon as the snow started to melt away mom and dad put me to work!  We have several outdoor projects to complete this summer. . .it's go time!

I think I'm really going to like this stuff.

Happy Easter. . . I found my first Easter Egg. . . I'm still unsure of the person dressed up in a bunny suit?  It's kind of crazy. . .

I LOVE to read books. . .

. . . the especially mini ones!

I'v got my own little reading nook, it's just perfect!

I LOVE my Penny girl. . . she's so snugly.

Drawing is one of my favorite things to do. . .I keep myself busy on the chalkboard wall!

Oh yeah, it's summertime. . .lounge chairs, friends and delicious popsicles. . .

Mom and her friends Amanda and Erin had a fun project working with high school students all year.  They designed, created, and installed a ceramic mural on one of our new park buildings. . .here are some pics of the instillation. . .

Yeah Amanda, the first piece has been successfully installed!!

Wow, two days and it's a whole new wall!  Good job everyone!

It's the day before Memorial Day, the day before Independence Pass Road to Aspen is open to cars for the season. . .mom and I enjoyed the last day of a car-less road.  Wheeeeeee, I LOVE the downhills!  It was a record year for snow. . .check out this snowbank towards the top!!

Daddy had to go away for work, so mom and I took the opportunity to head to Adella Beach to visit Grandma and Grandpa Stanek. . . They are so good to me and take me on so many fun adventures! Grandpa took me to the lake. . .

and on nice walks. . .

I got to see my Uncle Gabe. . .

. . . and eat my first dilly bar. . .YUMMO!

I had fun with my friend Hunter. . .he's a cutie pie let me tell you!

Grandma took me to my very first amusement park. . .Bay Beach, up in Green Bay.  Wow was it ever fun!  I LOVED hanging out and going on the rides with my cousin friends!  They are so good to me. . .

. . .and jeeps (just to name a few)!  Thanks for such a good time everyone!

Once we got home it was back to work!  We're laying gravel down that we'll then lay recycled tire rubber tiles over.  Cushy-cush!

In the walkway we're going to put in long vertical wood boards. . .

One, two, three LIFT!  Shucks, this is really heavy- daddy can you help please?

Mama and I put together some very beautiful pots- I picked out the flowers, I think I have the eye for this stuff. . .

My first haircut!

If the haircut involves stuffies and chocolate cookies. . .I'm in!

I'm pretty much feeling like a rock-star after that haircut. . .

Mama and I  went on lots of fun mountain hikes this summer.  Hiking is one of my favorite things and now that I'm getting bigger and stronger I can hike on my own much longer. . . YEAH!

My little cousin Mazie Ann was about to be born so mama and I headed to the farm for a visit and to celebrate the birth!  I had so much fun in my Grandma G's flower gardens, swimming in the pool and eating tomatoes right off the vine. . .YUMMO!  Check out this cool little green frog!

Grandma G and Grandpa Cool took me to the MN State Fair. . .holy cats that was fun!

I saw so many animals including fish. . .

. . . and pigs. . . cows, horses and bunnies. . .

I think the pigs were my favorite. . .oink, oink!

. . .we ate so much good food. . . okay, you have to eat a peach for a little healthiness people. . .

. . .but sure to be followed by these delicious deep fried cheese curds. . .YUMMO!

What a day. . .thank you Grandma G and Grandpa Cool. . .(notice the bucket of Martha's cookies that Grandma is holding. . .OMG. . .heaven!)

I was so lucky to have my friend Vivienne come over for a couple of play dates. . .sheesh, it's hard to keep up with her!  Go Vivi go!

 I got to play trains with Grandma. . . Choo-choo Train!

Oops, I took a fall and got my first "egg". . .can you see it on my forehead?

I probably should rest and take it easy. . .

Well, that's about it in a nutshell!  I have to have mama and daddy take pictures of me on my bike and final pictures of our new rubber tile patio that we put in so we can show you. . . it's all coming together!
