Happy Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day Weekend we went down to Cortez (southwest colorado) for a mountain bike race.  Mom was on a team with Sarah Mudge  (another new mama who has a baby boy, Arlo, my buddy) and Amy Hale.  They were Team Lead-Ladies!  Dad was on a team with Tyrone Rimbert and Brian Feddema.  They were Team Rimbert Oil (Tyrone owns a gas station in town).
Go! Go! Go!

There is a lot that needs to happen at these bike races . . .

First things first . . . our morning coffee to warm us up from the frigid desert night!

How's your coffee taste Tyrone?

Dad . . . you look like you may need a little more . . .

Ahhh, and then we must get a rub down from the one and only, magic fingers, Kathy Albers . . . thanks Kathy, you RULE!

Go Joh!  She's also a new mama who has my other buddy, Wiley.  Joh's a rockstar solo racer today . . . training for the Leadville Trail 100.

Then it's hang time with Arlo . . . he is three months older than me and sooooo cool!

We have to make sure all the times are right and are getting written down as people come in. There were 30 riders from Leadville . . . Whew!
Go Get'em Everybody!
Check out my skull and bones hat in honor of the pirate theme the race had going on . . .

Then of course us babies need a little free time to romp around together . . .
check out Arlo's gold booty chains!

Team Lead-Ladies Rocked it!  3rd place baby!

On the way home we took the scenic route and stopped for a riverside picnic.

Wow, a whole container of strawberries . . . these look delicious!

This looks like the perfect strawberry . . .

I picked this one just for you mama. i love you. xoxoxo.
Happy Mother's Day!

Our first call to the Pediatrician. . .

Well, the eating thing got old and I wasn't so sure about the rice cereal after a couple runs at it. Also, it seems as though the cereal wasn't the best for my digestive system as it gave me my first bout of constipation. . .whew, that had my mom worried for a few days. According to the doc, it is pretty normal for babies not to go #2 for 6-7 days when solids are introduced.  They told us that if I hadn't gone in 6 days to give me a little prune juice. . .bring on the prune juice!

Down the hatch and 10 minutes later. . . .SUCCESS!

(btw, the juice was sipped through a bottle not straight up as shown- though she was eager to drink it. . .it sure was sweet and tasty- YUMMO!)
