My First Visit to "The Beach"

We spent a week at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Neenah, WI - what fun we had, filled with many adventures and many new firsts for me!  Including my first extended road trip, which evidently I did very good with.  We drove through the night both ways and I just slept and slept. . .ahhhhhhh.  At the end of the trip we went to a family wedding where I met a lot of people in my family . . . you all ROCK!  I miss you already. . . 

Let the adventure begin. . . Hello Grandma and Grandpa!

It's vacation time. . . Mom and Dad went for a "Sunday Drive". . . nice wheels. . .

This was my court side seat to a fantastic game of HORSE between Dad and Grandpa. . .

Now this is vacation. . . 

milk, shade, and a perfect place to lounge. . . daddy's lap.
BATHTIME!  My first bath in the sink. . . a perfect, I'd say custom fit bath just for me!
. . .Splash, Splash!
. . .I don't want to get out!  

One day, Mom, Dad and Grandpa decided to go over to Lake Michigan where they have a boat to fish for salmon. . . I got to stay home and spend a girls night all alone with Grandma. . . talk about FUN!  I love you Grandma!!

One day, one of my favorite cousins, Hailee, came over to hang with me. . . she knows just what I like. . . FOOD!
I love you Hailee and hope to see you again real soon!

What are we getting from the garden?  Look, Grandpa carved my name into some pumpkins so when they grow bigger they will say Finnley REALLY BIG!  Cool!

Ahhh, what an interesting veggie. . . I think I need to investigate. . .

Grandma's been doing so much for us, I thought I'd help her out a little bit with the laundry. . .
Maybe someday I'll be big enough to jump off the dock like Daddy!

Until then, I'll just let him help me down. . . Yippie, my first dip into the Lake!

Time to get the "boat coat" on and go for my very first boat ride!
This is cool.
But I'm starting to get a little sleepy. . . is there anywhere for a girl to get some beauty sleep?
PERFECT!  Cool, breezy, vibrations, and sweet rocking. . . I could sleep here for hours. . .
After such good sleep, I'm ready to go out on the town baby!  What?  Dessert before dinner? Sign me up. . . my very first taste(s) of ice cream!  Holy Cow!

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. . . we will miss "The Beach" but will surely be back next summer! (and the summer after that, and the summer after that, and. . . .)
Next we went to Green Lake, WI for a family wedding. . . Congratulations Christian and Karley Marsh! (cousins to m & d) It was a beautiful day and a good place to show off my oh so cute sunflower dress!
Let me tell you all about the ceremony. . ."Do da do do de aaaaaaoooooooo da da. . . DO!"
I mean, does it get any better than this?  Gorgeous!
Did you check out the sunflower on my head?  I actually surprised myself by how long I left it on for. . . but it really did complete my look.

Meet the newest arrival to the family clan, Little Miss Aubren Ann, daughter to cousins Ryan and Amandy Biondo.  She is soooooo cute!   Was I really that little once?
Weddings, a great place for a family photo opportunity. . . I am so happy to have seen and spent time with my Uncle Gabe. . . I love you!
On our last morning before leaving WI, Grandma and I spent some good quality time splash splashing in the baby pool. . .

Grandma and Grandpa, thank you so much for a wonderful visit. . . I especially liked our morning chats and can't WAIT to spend more time with you soon!  mmmmmmmmmmmwa!

finnley's first ice cream taste.

Happy 4th of July

A little late, but better late than never they say. . .

The day began with a fun bike "race" filled with cruisers and costumes. . .we wound our way around the streets and alley-ways of leadville. . .our bike was decorated with red, white and blue streamers and mom blew a train whistle as we road. . ."toot, toot. . .TOOT!"

We're getting ready for our annual 4th of July Deck Party. . .it's a beautiful day and I LOVE a good party!  


We had so much fun . . . the night was cool so we lit our fireplace on the deck for the fireworks and after the show was over, dad started a bomb-fire in the backyard using our extra dry Christmas tree . . . Whoa, look out people! 

Whew, what a day. . . lots of action and good people. . . sweet dreams!
We're off to Neenah, WI to visit Grandma and Grandpa Stanek . . . I can't wait!
