Wow! What a busy August. . . You know what they say. . . time flies when you're having fun! When dad was away on his trip to Argentina, Mom and I decided to do a "little" project. We made a chalkboard paint stripe down our entire kitchen and living room wall! It will be a super cool place for me to doodle when I get a little older. . . until then, it got it's first use when we rented our house out for the Leadville Trail 100 Bike Race. We camped out at our Nordic Center Lodge while a family enjoyed the house which is right on the race course!
This will be my artwork someday. . .
Speaking of projects. . .we helped out Veronica with a little painting project at her rental house. You missed a spot mom. . .there you go . . .we make a great team!
It's peach season. . .Mom's good friend (a famous pie maker in town) Libby came over to make a couple of yummy in your tummy Peach Pies. . .Mom's Favorite!

Wiley and I have become hiking buds as this was our hike to Timberline Lake. . . what a beautiful day. . . Mom and Joh went swimming! Brrrrrrrrr but refreshing at the same time. . .
Arlo and I snuggled up and enjoyed some snacks. . . there's Timberline Lake. . .

Next we visited a friend of Mom's, Melissa, in Westcliff, CO. . . now this is classic Colorado. . .
I met horses for the first time. . . they were a bit too big for me to take at first. . . but I warmed up to them . . . look, this one is sticking it's tung out at us! Ha. Ha.
I see. . .he just wanted a little snack. . . that's my kind of thinking!
Horses are so beautiful. . .what a wonderful visit to the Ranch. . .
Go Mom! Go Dad! Score! My cheering was crucial for a soccer tournament that Mom and Dad were in. . .They took third! (there were only three teams) Check out Leadville's new beautiful soccer field! I can't wait to play on it someday. . .
Well, it's been a great month, full of adventure and new things. . .it's off to WI to enjoy some deep woods cabin time with Grandma and Grandpa Lindgren. . .oh, and Uncle Peder and Aunt Melissa! Yippie!!
